it was recorded by al-Tirmidhī in "al-Birr" and Aḥmad through two chains (vol. 2, p. 365) because al-Tirmidhī did not record it at all, and Aḥmad only narrated it through two chains from Sulaymān ibn Bilāl as previously mentioned, and not from Abū Hurayrah as might be inferred from his words. Then, the ḥadīth, despite not being in any of the six books, was not included by al-Haythamī in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" even though it meets his criteria, because Aḥmad narrated it!

(he used to say: "Indeed, the good is the good of the Hereafter," or he said: "O Allāh, there is no good except the good of the Hereafter, so forgive the Anṣār and the Muhājirīn"). It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/169): Ḥajjāj narrated to us, he said: Shuʿbah narrated to me, he said: I heard Qatādah: Anas ibn Mālik narrated to us: that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) ... and he mentioned it. Shuʿbah said: Qatādah used to say this in his stories. I said: And this isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim. It was also recorded by al-Bukhārī (3795 and 3796), Muslim (5/188), al-Tirmidhī (3857) - who authenticated it, al-Nasāʾī in "al-Sunan al-Kubrā" (5/84/8313 and 8314), Aḥmad (3/169, 170, 721, and 278), and Abū Yaʿlá (5/358 and 476) through other chains from Shuʿbah with it, except for his saying: "Qatādah used to ...", although some of them mentioned Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurrah Abū Iyas, and Ḥumayd instead of Qatādah. They were followed by Abū al-Tayyāḥ al-Ḍubʿī from Anas with it. It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (742), Ibn Ḥibbān (9/190/7215), and Aḥmad (3/118 and 244) through chains from Ḥammād with it, and it is a narration for Muslim (5/189)
