It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (237), Aḥmad (1/114), Abū Yaʿlá (1/409/279), and through him by al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah" (Musnad ʿAlī), and also by Ibn Saʿd, as well as Ibn Abī Shaybah (no. 12882), all from Muḥammad ibn al-Fuḍayl with it. Jarīr also followed him from Mughīrah with it. It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá (no. 334), al-Ṭabarānī (6 1 85), and through him also by al-Ḍiyāʾ. Al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (9/288-289): "It was narrated by Aḥmad, Abū Yaʿlá, and al-Ṭabarānī, and their narrators are the narrators of (al-Ṣaḥīḥ) except for Umm Mūsá, and she is trustworthy." I said: Her biography in "al-Tahdhīb" is as follows: "Umm Mūsá, the concubine of ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, it is said her name was Fākhtah, and it is said Ḥabībah. She narrated from ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib and from Umm Salamah. Mughīrah ibn Miqsam al-Ḍabbī narrated from her. Al-Dāraquṭnī said: Her ḥadīth is sound, her ḥadīth is considered." I said: And al-ʿAjlī said: She is a trustworthy successor from Kūfah." And Mughīrah ibn Miqsam is a trustworthy narrator from the two Shaykhs, but he used to practice tadlīs, and he did not explicitly state hearing from Umm Mūsá with any of the ḥadīth compilers, so the improvement of some commentators for his isnād is not good; unless it means it is good with what preceded it, then yes. I forgot to mention that al-Haythamī cited the ḥadīth from the first path from Ibn Masʿūd, and mentioned some of the wordings of the other paths, and said:
