the number of their believing brothers, and Allāh ﷿ says: "Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, 'In what [condition] were you?' They will say, 'We were oppressed in the land.' [The angels] will say, 'Was not the earth of Allāh spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein? ...'" (Sūrah al-Nisāʾ, 97). *
سواد إخوانهم المؤمنين، والله ﷿ يقول: (إن الذين توفاهم الملائكة ظالمي أنفسهم قالوا فيم كنتم قالوا كنا مستضغفين في الأرض قالوا ألم تكن أرض الله واسعة فتهاجروا فيها ... ) الآية [النساء: ٩٧] . *
"Seek refuge in Allāh from the beginning of the seventies and the rule of boys." It was recorded by Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (5/49/19082), Aḥmad (2/326, 355, 448), al-Bazzār (4/126/3358), and Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (6/81) through various chains from Kāmil Abū al-ʿAlāʾ who said: I heard Abū Ṣāliḥ, who was a caller to prayer for them, say: I heard Abū Hurayrah say: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: ... and he mentioned it. Al-Bazzār said: "We do not know anyone who narrated it from Abū Hurayrah except this Abū Ṣāliḥ, and we do not know anyone who narrated it from him except Abū Kāmil." I said: Ibn ʿAdī said—after he listed a number of ḥadīths, this being one of them—"I hope there is no harm in it." I said: There is a difference of opinion about him, and in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful but makes mistakes." Thus, his ḥadīth is ḥasan, if Allāh wills, and this is indicated by al-Dhahabī's statement in "al-Kāshif": "Ibn Maʿīn considered him reliable, and (S) said: He is not strong." And Abū Ṣāliḥ; no one narrated from him except Kāmil, and he was considered reliable by Ibn Ḥibbān and al-Dhahabī in "al-Mīzān", and al-Tirmidhī deemed his narration ḥasan
(تعوَّذُوا باللهِ من رأس السبعينِ، وإمارةِ الصبيانِ) . أخرجه ابن أبي شيبة في "المصنف " (٥/٤٩/١٩٠٨٢) ، وأحمد (٢/٣٢٦و٣٥٥و ٤٤٨) ، والبزار (٤/١٢٦/٣٣٥٨) ، وابن عدي في "الكامل" (٦/ ٨١) من طرق عن كامل أبي العلاء قال: سمعت أبا صالح- مؤذناً كان يؤذن لهم- قال: سمعت أبا هريرة يقول: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ... فذكره، وقال البزار: "لا نعلم رواه عن أبي هريرة إلا أبو صالح هذا ولا نعلم رواه عنه إلا أبو كامل ". قلت: قال ابن عدي- بعد أن ساق له جملة أحاديث هذا أحدها-:"أرجو أنه لا بأس به ". قلت: وهو مختلف فيه، وفي "التقريب ":"صدوق يخطئ ". فهو حسن الحديث إن شاء الله تعالى، وإلى ذلك يشير الذهبي بقوله فيه في" الكاشف ":"وثقه ابن معين، وقال (س) : ليس بالقوي ". وأبو صالح؛ لم يرو عنه إلا كامل، ووثقه ابن حبان، والذهبي في "الميزان "، وحسّن له الترمذي.
