Abū Yaḥyá: Abū Zayd al-Harawī narrated to us: ʿAlī ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us from Yaḥyá ibn Abī Kathīr from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Thawbān from him with some rearrangement; and he added: "and grant me health in my body." And this isnād, all its men are reliable from the shaykh of al-Ṭabarānī to Saʿd: As for the shaykh, he was declared trustworthy by Ibn al-Munādī, who described him as having good memory and sound knowledge, and he has a good biography in "Tārīkh Baghdād" (2/381), and he died in the year (293). And above him, all are from the men of al-Bukhārī, and Abū Zayd al-Harawī's name is Saʿīd ibn al-Rabīʿ al-Baṣrī; so the chain is authentic, except for the ʿanʿanah of Yaḥyá ibn Abī Kathīr, as he is known for tadlīs. And Allāh knows best. The mentioned addition has appeared in the previous ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah narrated by al-Tirmidhī, which includes the ʿanʿanah of Ḥabīb ibn Abī Thābit. As for the ḥadīth of Anas; it is narrated by Yūsuf ibn ʿAṭiyyah: Yazīd al-Raqāshī narrated to us from Anas ibn Mālik who said: when any of his companions suffered from ophthalmia, he would say: ... and he mentioned the supplication. It was recorded by Ibn al-Sunnī in "ʿAmal al-Yawm wa-al-Laylah" (181/559), and by al-Ḥākim (4/414); and he remained silent about it! Al-Dhahabī said: "There are two weak narrators in it." I say: Rather, the first one: Yūsuf ibn ʿAṭiyyah: is abandoned, and there are two of them; this is one of them, the Baṣrī, and the other: the Kūfī, who is also abandoned, and perhaps he is worse than him; for he was accused of lying
