the second: Saʿīd ibn ʿAnbasah al-Qaṭṭān, and it appears he is Abū ʿUthmān al-Khazzāz al-Rāzī, whom Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned (2/1/52) and said about him from his father: "There is a concern about him." Then he narrated from ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn ibn al-Junayd who said: "Saʿīd ibn ʿAnbasah is a liar, I heard my father say: he was not truthful." And with this, al-Haythamī criticized him; he said (4/244): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and in it is Saʿīd ibn ʿAnbasah, who is weak." the third: Muḥammad ibn ʿUthmān al-Jazarī, I did not find a biography for him either. Then I found a reliable follower for Saʿīd ibn ʿAnbasah, and through him, we learned the name of Abū Maʿdān: it was narrated by Ṣurad ibn Ḥammād Abū Sahl who said: Ḥasan ibn Ḥakam ibn Ṭahmān narrated to us: Abū Maʿdān narrated it. It was extracted by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Tārīkh" (9/343), and he said: "Abū Maʿdān was unique in narrating it, and it is rare from the ḥadīth of Abū Maʿdān ʿAbd Allāh ibn Maʿdān, Ḥasan ibn Ḥakam was unique in narrating it from him, and I do not know anyone else who narrated it except Ṣurad, and I know nothing but good about him." I said: And this Ibn Ṭahmān; Ibn Abī Ḥātim said about him from his father: "His ḥadīth is acceptable, but not that strong, he is inconsistent." And ʿAbd Allāh ibn Maʿdān was also narrated from by Wakīʿ and Abū Nuʿaym as in "al-Jarḥ," and al-Dhahabī mentioned in "al-Muqtaṇá fī al-Kuná": (al-Bursānī) instead of: (Abū Nuʿaym)
