then I saw the ḥadīth of al-Ḥasan al-Baṣrī, which was recorded by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (3/107/3019) through the route of al-Awzāʿī: Dāwūd ibn ʿAlī narrated to me: that he heard al-Ḥasan ibn Abī al-Ḥasan saying: While the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was delivering a khuṭbah to the people on Friday, a sheep and some fat came, and the people began to rise towards it until only a few remained. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "If you had all followed, the valley would have been set ablaze." I said: And this is a good mursal isnād, and Dāwūd ibn ʿAlī is the son of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbbās. Ibn Ḥibbān said in "al-Thiqāt": "He makes mistakes." And al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "Acceptable." I said: Thus, his ḥadīth is considered good in supporting evidence, as here. *

By Allāh! You are not hidden from us, so consider how you go out! So she turned back, and the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was in my house, and indeed he
