al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (10/41): "It was narrated by al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Kabīr' and 'al-Awsaṭ', and their chains are good." This is a misleading expression regarding the reality, as you have learned from the words of al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī that he has only this isnād. Thus, he means by (the chains): the paths referred to from al-Ḥārithī; so be aware! Then I saw that the ḥāfiẓ had preceded me in declaring it good, as he said in "Mukhtaṣar Zawāʾid al-Bazzār" (2/377): "And its isnād is good."
(Indeed, the first thing Allāh created was the pen, and He took it with His right hand—and both His hands are right. He said: It wrote the world and what would occur in it of deeds performed: righteousness or wickedness, moist or dry, and He recorded it with Him in the record. Then He said: Read if you wish: (This is Our Book that speaks against you with truth. Indeed, We were transcribing what you used to do) (Sūrah al-Jāthiyah, 29); so, is the copy not from something that has been completed?) It was narrated by al-Ājurī in "al-Sharīʿah" (321-322) who said: Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ṣāliḥ al-Bukhārī informed us, saying: al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī al-Ḥalwānī narrated to us, saying: Abū Tawbah al-Rabīʿ ibn Nāfiʿ narrated to us from Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd, who said: Arṭāh ibn al-Mundhir narrated to us from Mujāhid from Ibn ʿUmar (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhumā) that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said ... and he mentioned it. I say: And this isnād is authentic, its men are trustworthy and mentioned in "al-Tahdhīb"; except for Abū Muḥammad al-Bukhārī, who was mentioned by al-Khaṭīb (9/481-482) and narrated from more than one of the ḥuffāẓ that he is trustworthy, and al-Dhahabī described him in "al-Siyar" (14/243) as "the truthful imām."
