- "Do not benefit from anything of the carcass." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Tārīkh" (4/1/167) and by Ibn ʿAsākir (14/370) from him, and by Ibn Ḥibbān in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (2/286/1276) through the route of Hishām ibn ʿAmmār from Ṣadaqah ibn Khālid from Yazīd ibn Abī Maryam from al-Qāsim ibn Mukhaimarah from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUkaym who said: Our elders from Juhaynah informed us that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) wrote to them: that they should not ... [the rest of] the ḥadīth. And this isnād is authentic; its men are trustworthy, the men of "al-Ṣaḥīḥ." There is known criticism regarding Hishām ibn ʿAmmār despite him being one of al-Bukhārī's teachers, but he has been followed by a group: 1- Muḥammad ibn al-Mubārak: Ṣadaqah ibn Khālid narrated to us from him. It was recorded by al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Sharḥ Maʿānī al-Āthār" (1/271) and "Mushkil al-Āthār" (4/260-261). 2- al-Ḥakam ibn Mūsá: Ṣadaqah narrated to us from him. It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī in "Sunan" (1/25). And Muḥammad ibn al-Mubārak is trustworthy, from the men of the two Shaykhs. And al-Ḥakam ibn Mūsá is trustworthy, from the men of Muslim. Then Ṣadaqah ibn Khālid was followed by Ayyūb ibn Ḥassān: Yazīd ibn Abī Maryam narrated to us from him. It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī (1/25). And Ayyūb ibn Ḥassān is truthful, as al-Ḥāfiẓ said following Abū Ḥātim, and Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (8/127)
