al-Nasāʾī included in "al-Sunan al-Kubrā" (5/92/8351) the last part of it, without his saying: "and what is consumed..." Then Aḥmad narrated it through the route of Yazīd ibn Yazīd ibn Jābir, from a man, from ʿAmr ibn ʿAbasah who said, "He mentioned it in brief, and it includes: 'and I do not care if both tribes perish, for there is no saying or dominion except for Allāh...'" al-Haythamī commented on it (10/43): "Aḥmad narrated it both connected and disconnected, and al-Ṭabarānī, and the second was named: Basr ibn ʿUbayd Allāh. And all the men are trustworthy." It has a supporting narration similar to the first one in brief: al-Ṭabarānī included it in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (20/98/192) through the route of ʿAbd al-Razzāq: Thawr ibn Yazīd informed me from Khālid ibn Maʿdān from Muʿādh ibn Jabal... and he mentioned it similarly. I said: And this isnād has trustworthy men; except that Khālid ibn Maʿdān did not hear from Muʿādh, as al-Haythamī said (1).

(Leave them [O ʿUmar!]; for they are the Banū Arfadah). It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī (1/236), and Ibn Ḥibbān in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (7/548/5846 - al-Iḥsān), and Abū Jaʿfar al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Mushkil al-Āthār" (1/117), and Aḥmad (2/540) through the routes from al-Awzāʿī: Ibn Shihāb narrated to me: Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib narrated to me from Abū Hurayrah who said:
