pray for them; so I prayed for them twice. then he said: "ʿUṣayyah disobeyed Allāh and His Messenger; except for Qays, Jaʿdah, and ʿUṣayyah (1). then he said: Aslam, Ghifār, Muzaynah, and their allies from Juhaynah are better than Banū Asad, Tamīm, Ghaṭafān, and Hawāzin in the sight of Allāh on the Day of Judgment. then he said: The worst two tribes among the Arabs are Najrān and Banū Taghlib, and the most tribes in Paradise are Madhḥij and Maʾkūl." It was narrated by Imām Aḥmad (4/387) with this context, and by al-Ḥākim (4/81) through the route of ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿĀʾidh al-Azdī from ʿAmr ibn ʿAbasah al-Sulamī who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was once reviewing horses, and with him was ʿUyaynah ibn Ḥiṣn ibn Badr al-Fazārī. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to him: "I am more knowledgeable about horses than you." ʿUyaynah said: And I am more knowledgeable about men than you. The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to him: "How is that?" He said: The best men are those who carry their swords on their shoulders, placing their spears on the backs of their horses, wearing cloaks from the people of Najd. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "You have lied, rather the best men are the men of Yemen..." [end of] the ḥadīth. Al-Ḥākim said: "The text is unique, but the isnād is authentic," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said

" الحديث. وقال الحاكم: "غريب المتن، صحيح الإسناد"، ووافقه الذهبي، وهو كما قالا.
