further discussion on it will come under ḥadīth (3316), and with it, the ḥadīth gains additional strength.

(Whoever passes by a garden, let him eat, but not carry [anything away]). It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī, Ibn Mājah, and Aḥmad in "Masāʾil Abī Dāwūd ʿanhu" (p. 304) through the route of Yaḥyá ibn Sulaym from ʿAbd Allāh from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) who said ... and he mentioned it. Al-Tirmidhī said: "A strange ḥadīth, we do not know it except from the ḥadīth of Yaḥyá ibn Sulaym." I said: And with it, Imām Aḥmad criticized it, as Abū Dāwūd indicated by saying: "I mentioned to Aḥmad the ḥadīth of Yaḥyá ibn Sulaym... and he rebuked me, considering the ḥadīth weak." I said: But I found a supporting narration for it from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAmr, as Ibn Abī Shaybah said in "al-Muṣannaf" (6/85/356): Wakīʿ narrated to us from Hishām ibn Saʿd from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said ... and he mentioned it word for word. This is a muʿḍal [interrupted] narration, but it has come connected, as Imām Aḥmad said in "al-Musnad" (2/224): Ḥammād ibn Khālid narrated to us: Hishām ibn Saʿd narrated to us from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was asked about a man entering a garden? He said: "He may eat without taking anything in his garment." This is a connected, ḥasan [good] isnād. Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq also followed it from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb with a similar narration
