I said: And this is an authentic isnād according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim], and the ḥāfiẓ attributed it (8/137) to al-Nasāʾī and Ibn Ḥibbān and confirmed it, but he made it from the narration of Abū Burdah from Abū Mūsá! And you see that it is with them from his narration from ʿĀʾishah and not from Abū Mūsá! However, it seems that it has an origin from the ḥadīth of Abū Mūsá; for al-Haythamī mentioned it in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (9/37) from his ḥadīth with similar wording: "No, but I ask Allāh for the highest, most fortunate companion: Jibrīl..." And al-Haythamī said: "And in it is Muḥammad ibn Salām al-Jumaḥī, who is trustworthy but has some weakness, and the rest of its narrators are trustworthy." So I do not know if the ḥāfiẓ erred, attributing the ḥadīth of Abū Burdah from Abū Mūsá to al-Nasāʾī and Ibn Ḥibbān, while it is for al-Ṭabarānī, and he attributed it to him elsewhere in "al-Fatḥ" (8/132), or if it occurred as such in his copy of "al-Nasāʾī" and "Ibn Ḥibbān"?
