"al-Tamhīd" (10/172) through the route of Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah from al-Zuhrī from ʿUrwah from Kurz ibn ʿAlqamah al-Khuzāʿī who said: A man said: O Messenger of Allāh! Does Islam have an end? He said... and he mentioned it, and Maʿmar followed him from al-Zuhrī with it. It was recorded by ʿAbd al-Razzāq (11/362/20747), and through his route: Aḥmad, as well as al-Ṭabarānī (no. 442), and also al-Ḥākim (4/454); all of them from ʿAbd al-Razzāq from Maʿmar with it. Al-Ḥākim said: "The isnād is authentic." And al-Dhahabī agreed with him. ʿAbd Allāh—who is Ibn al-Mubārak—also followed Maʿmar with it. It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/34), and he quoted from al-Dāraqutnī that it is incumbent upon the two Shaykhs to include it due to its authenticity from Kurz; even though it has no narrator other than ʿUrwah, so refer to it if you wish. Then it was recorded by al-Bazzār; and al-Ṭabarānī through another route from al-Zuhrī with it. Al-Zuhrī was followed by ʿAbd al-Wāḥid ibn Qays who said: ʿUrwah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us with it, and he added: "And the best of people on that day is a believer secluded in a mountain pass, fearing his Lord ﵎, and leaving people from his evil." It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (1870 - Mawārid), and also by Aḥmad, and al-Bazzār (3355), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (10/574). I say: Its men are trustworthy; except for ʿAbd al-Wāḥid ibn Qays; there is a difference of opinion about him, and al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb":
