I said: Its narrators are trustworthy, except for this al-Mukharramī, whom I do not know. I fear he might be Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Mukharramī, who narrated from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn al-Rammāḥ with his authentic chain from Ibn ʿAbbās in a mawqūf report: When the son of Adam killed his brother, Adam (peace be upon him) said: "The lands and those upon them have changed, and the face of the earth has become dusty and ugly..." the ḥadīth. It was narrated by al-Khaṭīb in "al-Tārīkh" (5/128), and mentioned by al-Dhahabī in the biography of this al-Mukharramī, saying: "He is the flaw or his teacher." Similarly, in "al-Lisān," but it appeared as "al-Makhzūmī," which is a distortion. However, ʿUbayd Allāh was corroborated by Qaṭn, as Mālik said in "al-Muwaṭṭaʾ" (3/83): from Qaṭn ibn Wahb ibn ʿUwāymir ibn al-Ajdaʿ that Yuḥannas, the freed slave of al-Zubayr ibn al-ʿAwwām, informed him: He was sitting with ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar during the turmoil, and a female servant of his came to greet him, saying: "I intended to leave, O Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān! The times have become difficult for us." So ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar said to her: "Sit down, foolish one! For I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: 'There is no patience...'" the ḥadīth. From the route of Mālik, it was extracted by Muslim (4/119), Aḥmad (2/113, 119, 133), Abū Yaʿlá (10/166/5790), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (12/347/13307).
