and this is a good isnād. It was also narrated by Abū Yaʿlá (4985) through another route from him. The rest of the routes are with al-Ṭabarānī; and Abū Yaʿlá (5052) and its origin is from the first route from other routes from al-Aʿmash with al-Bukhārī (5000); and Muslim (7/148) with the wording: "By Allāh! I have taken from the mouth of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) more than seventy sūrahs; by Allāh, the Companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) knew that I am among the most knowledgeable of them about the Book of Allāh, and I am not the best of them." The context is from al-Bukhārī. *

- (He used to pass by the pot and take the bone and eat from it, then pray without performing ablution or touching water. In another narration: So he did not perform ablution nor rinse his mouth). It was narrated by Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (1/50) and from him by Abū Yaʿlá (7/427/4449), and Aḥmad (6/161) who said: Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī narrated to us from Zāʾidah from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Rufayʿ from ʿIkrimah and Ibn Abī Mulaykah from ʿĀʾishah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) ... and he mentioned it, and the context is from Aḥmad. I say: And this isnād is extremely authentic, and according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs, and it is astonishing how al-Ḥākim did not include it as a supplement to the two Shaykhs?! The other narration: It was narrated by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (1/153/298): Aḥmad ibn Manṣūr ibn Sayyār narrated to us: Yaḥyá ibn Yaʿlá narrated to us: Zāʾidah narrated it. And this is also authentic, Ibn Sayyār - who is al-Ramādī - is unanimously trustworthy, and Yaḥyá ibn Yaʿlá - who is al-Muḥāribī - is trustworthy and also among the men of the two Shaykhs
