The change in people and hypocrisy

(Indeed, you perform deeds that are more insignificant in your eyes than a hair; we used to consider them during the time of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) as destructive sins). It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/3), and al-Bazzār (1/72/108) through the route of ʿAbbād ibn Rāshid from Dāwūd ibn Abī Hind from Abū Naḍrah from Abū Saʿīd who said ... and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād has narrators who are the narrators of "al-Ṣaḥīḥ," and if it were not for some discussion regarding the memory of ʿAbbād ibn Rāshid, I would have judged it as authentic. Thus, the isnād is ḥasan, and al-Haythamī indicated this by saying (1/106): "It was narrated by al-Bazzār, and in it is ʿAbbād ibn Rāshid; Ibn Maʿīn and others deemed him trustworthy, while Abū Dāwūd and others weakened him." Al-Ḥāfiẓ also pointed to this by saying about him: "Truthful but has errors." Al-Haythamī missed attributing it to Aḥmad in the referenced place, but he rectified this in another place; however, there he did not attribute it to al-Bazzār! He said (10/190): "It was narrated by Aḥmad, and its narrators are the narrators of (al-Ṣaḥīḥ)." The ḥadīth has also been reported with two authentic isnāds from two other Companions: one of them is Anas ibn Mālik, and he has two routes: the first is from Mahdī from Ghaylān from him
