"The Tarāwīḥ Prayer" (p. 106). and Ibn Ḥibbān narrated (4/66, 67, 668) from the route of Ibn Abī Dhiʾb and others the first part of it. The ḥadīth strongly supports what Nāfiʿ narrated: that ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar used to give salām between the two units of the Witr prayer until he attended to some of his needs. It was extracted by al-Bukhārī (991).

"Pray for the Prophets and Messengers of Allāh, for Allāh sent them just as He sent me." It was extracted by ʿAbd al-Razzāq in "al-Muṣannaf" (2/216/3118), Ismāʿīl al-Qāḍī (18/45), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (1/148/131), and al-Khaṭīb in "al-Tārīkh" (8/105). Similarly, Abū al-Ḥasan al-Hāshimī in "al-Fawāʾid al-Muntaqā" (Q 104/1), al-Dībājī also (2/81/1), Abū al-Qāsim al-Shahrazūrī in "al-Amālī" (Q 179/1), Ibn al-Muẓaffar in "al-Muntaqā min Ḥadīth Hishām ibn ʿAmmār" (4/2), and Abū Isḥāq al-Ṭarsūsī in "Mashyakhatuhu" (35-36). Similarly, ʿAlī ibn Ḥarb in "Ḥadīth Ibn ʿUyaynah" (2/100/2) from the routes of Mūsá ibn ʿUbaydah from Muḥammad ibn Thābit from Abū Hurayrah, attributed [to the Prophet]. Al-Ṭarsūsī said: "A strange ḥadīth, and Mūsá was weakened, and his teacher Muḥammad is unknown." I said: The discussion on Mūsá and his weakness has been mentioned previously.
