as al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Fatḥ" (9/579), and I have previously documented it in "al-Rawḍ al-Naḍīr" (823) under the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah. Then I found two other chains for it: the first is narrated by Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar al-Madanī: Mansūr ibn Abī al-Aswad narrated to us from al-Aʿmash from Abū Ṣāliḥ from Abū Hurayrah with it. It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (4/137) and he authenticated it, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I say: Its isnād is good, and its narrators are trustworthy, the men of Muslim except for this Mansūr, and he is truthful. The other is narrated by Maʿmar from al-Zuhrī from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib from Abū Hurayrah with it. It was recorded by al-Bayhaqī (7/276), and in "al-Shuʿab" (5/70/5813 and 5814). I say: And this is another authentic isnād for al-Zuhrī.

- "Behind you, my son! An event has occurred, so do not enter upon me except with permission." He said this to his servant Anas ibn Mālik. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (807), al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Sharḥ al-Maʿānī" (2/393), and Aḥmad (3/199 and 209), and through his route by al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Mizzī in "Tahdhīb al-Kamāl" (11/239), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (6/164-165) from the narration of Jarīr ibn Ḥāzim from Salm al-ʿAlawī from Anas ibn Mālik who said: I used to serve the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), so I would enter upon him without permission. One day I came and entered upon him, and he said: and mentioned it without the addition. But he was followed by Ḥammād ibn Zayd: Salm al-ʿAlawī narrated to us... with the wording:
