into two sections: "authentic" and "weak," and he made an astonishing mix in this because it is not his field of knowledge, nor do I say it is his specialty. He placed in the "authentic" what should be in the "weak," and vice versa, and there is another occasion to clarify this. The point here is that he embellished these books with images of pages from the manuscripts of the sunan, as if he was tasked with printing them anew, verified against the manuscripts, while he was only tasked with printing the authentication and weakening that I had done on the sunan! But it is the pretense of having what one does not possess! Then the new editor, named (Ḥassān ʿAbd al-Manān), of the book "Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn," deleted the ḥadīth from its first place—which is more beneficial—and only included it in its other place, and he deleted the phrase: "agreed upon." without any clarification from him whether the deletion was based on his opinion or due to verification he conducted by referring to some manuscripts, which he did not concern himself with, nor did he claim to—praise be to Allāh—as others did. Then it seems he did not notice the mursal or the disconnection in it, otherwise he would have hastened to cling to it to weaken the ḥadīth as he did with others narrated by al-Bukhārī and Muslim, let alone those narrated by others among the authors of the sunan. I have presented many examples of this in the addenda I attached to the second volume of "al-Ṣaḥīḥah" in the new edition. And Allāh is the one whose help is sought. (al-Ruʿāʾ): plural of (Rāʿ). (al-Ḥuṭamah): is the one who is harsh in herding camels in the market, driving them in and out, throwing some over others, and oppressing them, used as an example for a bad governor, as in "al-Nihāyah."
منها إلى قسمين: "الصحيح " و " الضعيف "، فخلط في ذلك خلطا عجيبا لأن ذلك ليس من علمه، ولاأقول من اختصاصه، فجعل في " الصحيح " ما ينبغي أن يكون في " الضعيف "، وعلىالعكس، ولبيان هذا مجال آخر. الشاهد هنا أنه زين هذه الكتب بصور صفحات منمخطوطات السنن، كأنه كلف أن يقوم بطباعتها من جديد محققة على المخطوطات،وإنما كلف بطبع التصحيح والتضعيف الذي قمت به على السنن! ولكنه التشبع بما لميعط! ثم إن المحقق الجديد المدعو بـ (حسان عبد المنان) لكتاب " رياضالصالحين " قد حذف الحديث من المكان الأول منه - وهو الأتم فائدة - واقتصرعلى إيراده إياه في الموضع الآخر منه، وحذف منه قوله: " متفق عليه ". دونأي بيان منه هل كان الحذف عن رأي منه، أم عن تحقيق وقع له برجوعه إلى بعضالمخطوطات، وهذا مما لم يعن به، ولم يدعه - والحمد لله - كما فعل غيره. ثم إن الظاهر أنه لم ينتبه للإرسال الذي فيه أو الانقطاع، وإلا لسارع إلىالتشبث به لتضعيف الحديث كما فعل بغيره مما رواه البخاري ومسلم، فضلا عمارواه غيرهما من أصحاب السنن، وقدمت نماذج كثيرة منها في الاستدراكات التيألحقتها بالمجلد الثاني من " الصحيحة " الطبعة الجديدة. والله المستعان. (الرعاء) : جمع (راع) . (الحطمة) : هو العنيف برعاية الإبل في السوقوالإيراد والإصدار، ويلقي بعضها على بعض، ويعسفها، ضربه مثلا لوالي السوء. كما في " النهاية ".
