and Abū Nuʿaym narrated it in "al-Ṭibb" (Q 10/2) through another chain from Sufyān, but he sent it. He also narrated a supporting witness for it in the chapter through two chains from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ from his father from Abū Hurayrah with a similar narration. Its chain is authentic.

"Will you not ask me why I laughed?" We said, "O Messenger of Allāh, why did you laugh?" He said, "I saw people from my ummah being driven to Paradise in chains, how I dislike it for them!" We said, "Who are they?" He said, "People from the non-Arabs whom the Muhājirūn capture and bring into Islam." Abū Nuʿaym narrated it in "Akhbār Aṣbahān" (2/298) saying: Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn al-Faḍl narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Ḥātim narrated to us: Yazīd ibn Sinān in Egypt and ʿAbbād ibn al-Walīd both said: Ḥibbān ibn Hilāl narrated to us: Mubārak ibn Faḍālah narrated to us: Kathīr Abū Muḥammad narrated to me: Abū al-Ṭufayl narrated to me that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) laughed until he was overcome with laughter and then said: (the ḥadīth). I said: This chain is good, if Allāh wills, either in itself or due to other supporting evidence that will follow, for its men are trustworthy and mentioned in "al-Tahdhīb" except for the unknown status of Kathīr Abū Muḥammad, whom Ibn Ḥibbān has authenticated (5/332). As for ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Ḥātim, he is a trustworthy ḥāfiẓ, and he is the author of the great book: "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl"
