and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī ʿAmrah from him. Narrated by al-Bukhārī (3254). All of them narrated it from him in its entirety. Ibn Lahīʿah narrated from Abū Yūnus from Abū Hurayrah who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: He mentioned it in an abridged form with the wording: "The people of Paradise, their perspiration is musk, and their fuel is aloeswood." Ibn Lahīʿah said: (Aloeswood): the fine Indian wood. Narrated by Aḥmad (2/357). I said: Ibn Lahīʿah is weak, but this ḥadīth of his is authentic because the phrase: "their perspiration is musk" is confirmed in some of the previous chains.

"I have been given the Book and what is equivalent to it (meaning: and similar to it), soon a well-fed man reclining on his couch will say: Between us and you is this Book, so whatever it contains of lawful we will declare lawful and whatever it contains of unlawful we will declare unlawful. Verily, it is not like that. Verily, it is not permissible to eat any predator with fangs, nor the domesticated donkey, nor to take a lost item from the wealth of a treaty-bound non-Muslim unless he is indifferent to it, and if any man hosts people and they do not entertain him, then he has the right to recompense them with an equivalent hospitality." Narrated by ʿAbbās al-Taraqafī in "His Ḥadīth" (46/1): Muḥammad ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us, saying: Yaḥyá ibn Ḥamzah narrated to me, saying: Muḥammad ibn al-Walīd al-Zubaydī narrated to me from Marwān ibn Ruʾbah that he narrated it from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī ʿAwf al-Jurashī from al-Miqdām ibn Maʿdī Karib al-Kindī as a marfūʿ ḥadīth
