that ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muḥammad informed us from ʿAmr ibn Abī ʿAmr, the client of al-Muṭṭalib, from al-Muṭṭalib ibn Ḥanṭab that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it without saying: "and do not let it carry you..." al-Banna, the arranger, remained silent about it as was his habit, and it is mursal with a good isnād. Al-Muṭṭalib ibn Ḥanṭab is attributed to his great-grandfather, as he is al-Muṭṭalib ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Muṭṭalib ibn Ḥanṭab al-Makhzūmī, and it is said that (al-Muṭṭalib) is omitted from his lineage, and it is said: they are two, as in "al-Tahdhīb," and he is a trustworthy tābiʿī who often narrates mursal. The aforementioned statement has a supporting witness from the ḥadīth of Jābir in a similar manner. It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān and others, and it is included in "al-Ẓilāl" (420) and "al-Taʿlīq al-Raghīb" (3/7). In summary, the ḥadīth is ḥasan at the very least.

- "It eases my death to see you as my wife in Paradise, meaning ʿĀʾishah." It was narrated by al-Ḥusayn al-Marwazī in "Zawāʾid al-Zuhd" (207/2): Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us, Abū Ḥanīfah narrated to us from Ḥammād from Ibrāhīm from al-Aswad from ʿĀʾishah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to me: and he mentioned it. From this chain, it was narrated by al-Khulāʿī in "al-Fawāʾid" (2/59/1), then from the route of Saʿīd ibn ʿAnbasah who said: Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us from Misʿar from Ḥammād with it. I said: And this isnād is weak, its narrators are trustworthy, the men of Muslim except for Saʿīd ibn ʿAnbasah, and I think he is Abū ʿUthmān al-Kharrāz al-Rāzī, as Ibn Abī Ḥātim mentioned (2/1/52) that he narrated from a group he named from this generation, among them Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ḍarīr, and he said: "My father heard from him, but did not narrate from him, and he said: there is doubt about him, and he once said: he was not truthful."
