It was recorded by Ibn Mājah (4161): ʿAbbās ibn ʿUthmān al-Dimashqī narrated to us, al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us, ʿĪsá ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlá ibn Abī Furwah narrated to us: Isḥāq ibn Abī Ṭalḥah narrated to me. This is how it was said: "ʿĪsá ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlá ibn Abī Furwah." Al-Dhahabī and others mentioned that he is unknown, and he is named in this way in another ḥadīth about the Eid prayer in the mosque on a rainy day, which is also narrated by al-Walīd from him, and it is included in "Ḍaʿīf Abī Dāwūd" (212). So, I do not know from whom the error is? Is it from al-Walīd himself, or from ʿAbbās ibn ʿUthmān, the narrator from him.
