secondly: he said: in the narration of Abū al-Aswad: "there will be leaders after me who will be guided by my guidance and will not follow my sunnah." This is how it was stated, and it is an obvious error. I do not know how al-ʿAynī followed him in this! The correct version is "will not be guided..." as indicated by the context and as found in "Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim."

Permit me to go out with such-and-such army. He said: No. She said: O Prophet of Allāh! I do not intend to fight; I only want to treat the wounded and care for the sick. He mentioned it, and al-Ṭabarānī did not include: "in your house," and said: "It is not narrated from Umm Kabshah except through this isnād, and al-Ḥasan ibn Ṣāliḥ was the only one to narrate it." I said: He is trustworthy among the narrators of Muslim, and likewise Muḥammad ibn Ṭarīf al-Bajalī, and he was not the only one to narrate it as al-Ṭabarānī indicated, for Abū Bakr ibn Abī Shaybah followed him in "al-Muṣannaf" (12/526/15500): Ḥumayd ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Rawāsī narrated it.
