and Umm Karz is mentioned among the female Companions, unlike Abū Karz, so it seems it is not preserved. And Allāh knows best.

- "Some people from the Jews would come to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and say, 'Death be upon you!' He would reply, 'And upon you.' ʿĀʾishah noticed them and insulted them, (in another narration: ʿĀʾishah said, 'Rather, upon you be death and disgrace.') The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said, 'Stop, O ʿĀʾishah! [Do not be obscene] for Allāh does not love obscenity or the obscene.' She said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allāh, they say such and such.' He said: 'Did I not return it to them?' Then Allāh revealed: * (And when they come to you, they greet you with a greeting that Allāh has not greeted you with) * to the end of the verse." It was recorded by Ibn Rāhwayh in "his Musnad" (4/168/1): Yaʿlá ibn ʿUbayd informed us, al-Aʿmash informed us from Abū al-Ḍuḥā from Masrūq from ʿĀʾishah, she said: and he mentioned it. I said: And this isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim, and it was also recorded by Muslim (7/5) through the route of Ibn Rāhwayh, and Aḥmad (6/229): Abū Muʿāwiyah and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, they said: al-Aʿmash narrated it. And it includes the addition, which is also with Muslim through another route from Abū Muʿāwiyah alone, and it includes the other narration which is also with Ibn Rāhwayh from Abū Muʿāwiyah, and through his route, it was narrated by Ibn Mājah (2/397) in a shortened form. And it was recorded by al-Nasāʾī in "al-Sunan al-Kubrā" (6/482/11571) through the route of al-Faḍl ibn Mūsá, he said: al-Aʿmash informed us of it. And it includes the addition. (Note): Al-Suyūṭī attributed the ḥadīth in "al-Durr al-Manthūr" (6/184) to ʿAbd al-Razzāq
