do you see the infant when it falls, how it cries? They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allāh! He said: That is when the devil pokes it in its sides." Reported by Aḥmad (2/368). Its isnād is authentic, and its narrators are those of the authentic collections. Yazīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Qusayṭ followed him with a narration similar to that of Saʿīd. Reported by Ibn Jarīr. Its narrators are trustworthy. Abū Salamah followed him from Abū Hurayrah with a narration similar to that of Abū Yūnus. Reported by Ibn Jarīr.

"I have not brought you anything but good. I have come to you so that you may worship Allāh alone with no partner, abandon the worship of al-Lāt and al-ʿUzzá, perform five prayers in the day and night, fast one month in the year, perform pilgrimage to this House, and take from the wealth of your rich and return it to your poor. Allāh has indeed taught good, and there is knowledge that only Allāh knows. Five things are known only to Allāh: *"Indeed, Allāh [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die."*" Reported by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (1084) and Aḥmad (5/368-369) through two chains from Manṣūr from Rabiʿī ibn Ḥirāsh who said: A man from Banī ʿĀmir came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and said: May I enter?
