and perhaps it is an unconfirmed addition, for the ḥāfiẓ did not mention in the biography of al-Ḥasan from "al-Tahdhīb" by al-Tirmidhī except that he considered it strange, and similarly did al-Tibrīzī in "al-Mishkāt" (1036), which is appropriate given the state of its isnād as you know, and this is confirmed by the statement of the ḥāfiẓ in "al-Talkhīṣ" (4/114): "al-ʿUqaylī weakened it due to al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad... he said: there is ignorance in it." Ibn Jurayj was followed in part of it, as ʿAbd al-Razzāq (5868) and Ibn Abī Shaybah (2/8) narrated from Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Yazīd that he heard Ibn ʿAbbās being asked: Is there a prostration in (Ṣ)? He said: Yes, * "Those are the ones whom Allāh has guided, so from their guidance take an example" *. Its isnād is authentic according to the criteria of al-Shaykhayn. It was also narrated by al-Bukhārī (3421 and 4807), the two compilers, and al-Bayhaqī (2/219) through the route of Mujāhid who said: Ibn ʿAbbās was asked... etc. In summary, the ḥadīth of the chapter is ḥasan at the very least through the other route and the supporting evidence, especially since its supporting evidence was authenticated by al-Ḥākim and others as mentioned earlier, and indeed the ḥāfiẓ mentioned in "al-Tahdhīb" from al-Khalīlī that he said about it: "a strange authentic ḥadīth." Perhaps for this reason, al-Nawawī said in "al-Majmūʿ" (4/64): "al-Tirmidhī and others narrated it with a ḥasan isnād." And Allāh knows best.
- "There is no newborn among the children of Adam except that Satan touches him when he is born, so he cries out due to the touch of Satan, except for Maryam and her son." It was narrated by al-Bukhārī (3431 and 4548), Muslim (7/96), and Aḥmad (2/233)
