"Whoever has three daughters, shelters them, shows mercy to them, and takes care of them, Paradise is assured for him without a doubt. It was said: O Messenger of Allāh! What if there are two? He said: Even if there are two. It was said: Some of the people thought that if they had said to him: One? He would have said: One." It was recorded by Imām Aḥmad (3/303): Hushaym narrated to us, ʿAlī ibn Zayd informed us from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir who said: Jābir, meaning Ibn ʿAbd Allāh, told me that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said it, and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is good for follow-up reports, and its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs, except for ʿAlī ibn Zayd who is Ibn Judʿān, and there is some weakness in his memory, but he did not narrate it alone as will be shown. Al-Mundhirī said (3/84-85): "Aḥmad narrated it with a good isnād, as did al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ', with the addition: (and marries them off)." Likewise, al-Haythamī said (8/157) except he added: "from various chains." They both missed Abū Yaʿlá, as he recorded it in his "Musnad" (2/591): Abū Khaythamah narrated to us: Yazīd ibn Hārūn informed us: Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn narrated from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir with it.
