ʿAṭāʾ, in this case, has some weakness, as the ḥāfiẓ [scholar] said in "Taqrīb," and it has been authenticated with another isnād from Jābir with the wording: "... I fear what is between my sides." It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/354 and 393) in both extended and abridged forms. However, I found a strong corroboration for the wording of the translation from the ḥadīth of al-Sāʾib ibn Khallād, raised [to the Prophet] with it, and added: "Upon him is the curse of Allāh, the angels, and all people; neither repentance nor ransom will be accepted from him." It was recorded by al-Nasāʾī in "al-Kubrā" (89/2), Aḥmad (3/55 and 56), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (7/169/6631) through the route of Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd from Muslim ibn Abī Maryam from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār from him. This isnād is authentic according to the conditions of the two shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim]. Then they, and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (1/372), recorded it through the route of Yazīd ibn Khuṣayfah from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Ṣaʿṣaʿah that ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār informed him of it, and added: "oppressing them." Its isnād is also authentic according to the conditions of the two shaykhs, and Yazīd is Ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Khuṣayfah al-Madanī. The ḥadīth was mentioned by al-Mundhirī (2/147) with the narration of al-Nasāʾī and al-Ṭabarānī from al-Sāʾib ibn Khallād, raised [to the Prophet] with the wording: "O Allāh, whoever oppresses the people of Madīnah and frightens them, then frighten him, and upon him is the curse of Allāh..." etc. I said: And this wording is only with al-Ṭabarānī (6636), as it is not with al-Nasāʾī except with the wording..
عطاء هذا فيه لينكما قال الحافظ في " التقريب "، وقد صح بإسناد آخر عن جابر بلفظ: " ... فقدأخاف ما بين جنبي ". أخرجه أحمد (٣ / ٣٥٤ و ٣٩٣) مطولا ومختصرا. لكني وجدتللفظ الترجمة شاهدا قويا من حديث السائب بن خلاد مرفوعا به وزاد: " وعليهلعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين، لا يقبل منه صرف ولا عدل ". أخرجهالنسائي في " الكبرى " (٨٩ / ٢) وأحمد (٣ / ٥٥ و ٥٦) والطبراني في "المعجم الكبير " (٧ / ١٦٩ / ٦٦٣١) من طريق يحيى بن سعيد عن مسلم بن أبي مريمعن عطاء بن يسار عنه. وهذا إسناد صحيح على شرط الشيخين. ثم أخرجوه هم،وأبو نعيم في " الحلية " (١ / ٣٧٢) من طريق يزيد بن خصيفة عن عبد الرحمن بنعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي صعصعة أن عطاء بن يسار أخبره به، وزاد: "ظالما لهم ". وإسناده صحيح أيضا على شرط الشيخين، ويزيد هو ابن عبد الله بنخصيفة المدني. والحديث أورده المنذري (٢ / ١٤٧) برواية النسائي والطبرانيعن السائب بن خلاد مرفوعا بلفظ: " اللهم من ظلم أهل المدينة، وأخافهم فأخفه، وعليه لعنة الله ... " إلخ. قلت: وهذا اللفظ للطبراني (٦٦٣٦) فقط،فإنه ليس عند النسائي إلا باللفظ
