It was recorded by Tamām in "al-Fawāʾid" (Q 55/2) and from him by Ibn ʿAsākir (9/4/2 and 17/447/2) in two places, one of which is in the biography of this al-Walīd, and he did not add to it except that he narrated this ḥadīth, which indicates that he is unknown. I think he is the one mentioned in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" (4/2/18): "al-Walīd ibn Marwān, narrated from Ghaylān ibn Jarīr, narrated from him by Muʿtamir ibn Sulaymān. When I approached the house, I hurried and informed my parents, and they went out to meet the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and welcomed him. They placed a small carpet that was with Zubayrah for him, and he sat on it. Then my father said to my mother: Bring your food, so she brought a bowl containing flour mixed with water and salt, and she placed it before the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and he said: 'Eat in the name of Allāh from its sides and leave its top, for the blessing is in it.'"
