Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to us, Yazīd ibn Muhab informed me, ʿAmr ibn al-Ḥārith that Bukayr ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Ashajj narrated to him that Yazīd ibn Abī ʿUbayd, the client of Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ, narrated to him that he heard Salamah ibn al-Akwaʿ say: ... so he mentioned it, and said: "No one narrated it from Salamah except Yazīd, and no one from him except Bukayr, and ʿAmr was unique in narrating it." I said: He is trustworthy, from the men of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim], as are those above him. And Yazīd ibn Muhab is Yazīd ibn Khālid ibn Yazīd ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muhab al-Hamdānī al-Ramlī, and he is trustworthy, mentioned in "al-Tahdhīb." And Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan is Ibn Qutaybah al-ʿAsqalānī, and he is also trustworthy, mentioned in "Tārīkh Ibn ʿAsākir." Thus, the chain is authentic, and al-Haythamī strengthened it following al-Mundhirī, as he said in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (8 / 73): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ' and 'al-Kabīr' in a similar manner, and the isnād of 'al-Awsaṭ' is good, and in the isnād of 'al-Kabīr' is Ibn Lahīʿah, who is weak." And al-Mundhirī said (3 / 287): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī with a good isnād."

- "He is not one of us who practices magic (or has magic done for him), or practices divination or has divination done for him, or is superstitious or has superstition done for him." It was narrated by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (p. 169 - its additions) and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (4 / 393) from Zamaʿah ibn Ṣāliḥ from Salamah ibn Wuhārām from ʿIkrimah from Ibn ʿAbbās, raised [to the Prophet]. And al-Bazzār said: "We do not know it except from this route with this isnād, and Zamaʿah is weak."
