"it is not narrated from Wahb from Ṭāwūs except with this isnād, and it was uniquely reported by al-Ḥulwānī." I said: He is trustworthy among the teachers of the two Shaykhs, but the teacher of his teacher, ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ṣafwān, is weak. Al-ʿUqaylī mentioned him in "al-Ḍuʿafāʾ" (p. 209) and narrated from Hishām ibn Yūsuf that he was asked about him, and he said: "He was weak and did not memorize the ḥadīth." Then he narrated this ḥadīth: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḥaḍramī told us, saying: al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī al-Ḥulwānī narrated it to us with it. And the two additions are from him. Then he said: "And in this ḥadīth, there is a narration from another perspective, which also has some weakness." I said: And it seems he is referring to the previous narration. And Idrīs, the son of the daughter of Wahb, is weak, and he is among the men of "al-Tahdhīb." As for Ghāwth ibn Jābir ibn Ghaylān, Ibn Maʿīn said: "There was no harm in him," as mentioned in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" (3/2/58). And the teacher of al-Ṭabarānī, Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Ṣāʾigh, is the Makkan as in "al-Muʿjam al-Ṣaghīr," and I did not find a biography for him. Then I saw that al-Dhahabī had declared him trustworthy in "al-Siyar" (13/428) and had narrated about fifty ḥadīths for him in "al-Awsaṭ." Then he is followed by al-Ḥaḍramī as mentioned earlier. In summary, all the men of the isnād are known, so it is surprising that al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Haythamī said (3/243): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ,' and it includes a group for whom I did not find biographies." Perhaps he was not able to discover the omission in al-Ṭabarānī's isnād, so it was hidden from him that
