2 - An index of the names of the narrators of the reports from the Companions and others, numbering about sixty, with the number of each one's report beside their name. 3 - An index of the reports, with their numbers beside them, totaling more than two hundred out of approximately ten thousand, which is the total number of ḥadīths in the book, and the rest are elevated [to the Prophet]. 4 - The names of al-Ṭabarānī's teachers, numbering about eight hundred, with the number of each one's ḥadīths beside their name, which helps to distinguish those who narrated little from those who narrated much, and this is useful for those among them who are not well-known.

"O Allāh, this is a pilgrimage with no ostentation or seeking of reputation." It is narrated from the ḥadīth of Anas, Ibn ʿAbbās, and Bishr ibn Qudāmah al-Ḍabbābī. 1 - As for the ḥadīth of Anas, there are two chains from him: the first is from the narration of al-Rabīʿ ibn Ṣabīḥ from Yazīd ibn Abān from him, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) performed ḥajj on a worn-out saddle, and he wore a cloak not worth four dirhams, and he said: "O Allāh, make it a pilgrimage with no ostentation or seeking of reputation." It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī in "al-Shamāʾil" (p. 191), Ibn Mājah (2890), Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (4/106), Ibn Saʿd in "al-Ṭabaqāt" (2/177), and Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (6/308). I said: And this isnād is weak; al-Rabīʿ ibn Ṣabīḥ, the ḥāfiẓ said: "Truthful but poor in memory, and he was a devout worshipper and struggler."
