in "the two Ṣaḥīḥs" from another route from al-Barāʾ in another ḥadīth of his with the wording: "We were commanded with seven..." the ḥadīth, and he mentioned them among them. Muslim mentioned (6/135) in his narration: "and the recitation of the lost." It is as such in it, and perhaps it is: "and the guidance." 3 - As for the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās, it is narrated by Ibn Abī Laylá from Dāwūd ibn ʿAlī from his father from his grandfather ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbbās with it, and its wording: "Return the salām, lower the gaze, guide the way, and assist with the burden." It was recorded by al-Bazzār (2019) and he said: "We do not know of any route for Ibn ʿAbbās other than this one, and it is narrated from others with different wordings, and we do not know of the ḥadīth 'and assist with the burden' except in this, and Dāwūd is not strong in ḥadīth, but he is not suspected of lying, and only that is written from his ḥadīth which no one else narrates." I said: And Ibn Abī Laylá - who is Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān - has poor memory, and al-Haythamī critiqued it for this reason. This is what al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Ḥajar said - following what was previously mentioned - in "Zawāʾid al-Bazzār" (2/211). 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Sahl, it is narrated by Abū Maʿshar: Abū Bakr ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Anṣārī narrated to us from him similarly with the wording: "They said: And what is the right of gatherings? He said: Mention Allāh frequently, guide the way, and lower the gazes." It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (6/105/5592)
في " الصحيحين " من طريق أخرى عن البراء في حديث آخر له بلفظ: " أمرنا بسبع.. " الحديث، فذكرها فيهن. وذكر مسلم (٦ / ١٣٥) في رواية له: " وإنشاد الضال ". كذا فيه، ولعله: " وإرشاد ". ٣ - وأما حديث ابن عباس فيرويه ابن أبي ليلى عن داود بن علي عن أبيه عن جده عبد الله بن عباس به، ولفظه: " فردوا السلام وغضوا البصر واهدوا السبيل وأعينوا على الحمولة ". أخرجه البزار (٢٠١٩) وقال: " لا نعلم لابن عباس غير هذا الطريق، وروي عن غيره بألفاظ، ولا نعلم في حديث " وأعينوا على الحمولة " إلا في هذا، وداود ليس بالقوي في الحديث، ولا يتوهم عليه إلا الصدق، وإنما يكتب من حديثه ما لم يروه غيره ". قلت: وابن أبي ليلى - وهو محمد بن عبد الرحمن - سيىء الحفظ، وبه أعله الهيثمي. وهو ما قاله - عقب ما سبق - الحافظ ابن حجر في " زوائد البزار " (٢ / ٢١١) . ٤ - وأما حديث سهل فيرويه أبو معشر: حدثنا أبو بكر بن عبد الرحمن الأنصاري عنه نحوه بلفظ: " قالوا: وما حق المجالس؟ قال: ذكر الله كثيرا، وأرشدوا السبيل وغضوا الأبصار ". أخرجه الطبراني في " الكبير " (٦ / ١٠٥ / ٥٥٩٢) .
