In the name of Allāh, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Introduction: Indeed, all praise is due to Allāh, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allāh from the evils of ourselves and the misdeeds of our actions. Whomsoever Allāh guides, none can mislead, and whomsoever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allāh, alone without partner. And I bear witness that Muḥammad is His servant and messenger. To proceed: This is the sixth volume of my large book "The Series of Authentic Ḥadīths..", and it contains within its covers a new fragrant collection of the ḥadīths of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), his purified sunnah, and his honored biography. This volume, like its predecessors, includes ḥadīths that encompass various aspects of beliefs, types of manners and ethics, categories of fiqh and rulings, and branches of technical ḥadīth sciences, among other things that will benefit, by the will of Allāh, Muslims in general, students of knowledge in particular, and especially the advocates of the sunnah and its adherents. And so that our esteemed reader brothers may be informed of what I have said and aware of what I have indicated, I mention—in this brief introduction—the most significant matters that occurred to me in this volume from ḥadīths, narrations, and scholarly discussions: Among these, as I see it, are some ḥadīths or issues where it appeared to me, either initially or by the indication of others, a change of opinion, a difference in ijtihād, or an error that was uncovered
