(2/23, 50, 73, 110), and he repeated the sentence three times in one of his narrations, and the context is from al-Bukhārī. Fourth: from Bishr ibn Ḥarb: I heard Ibn ʿUmar say: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: "O Allāh, bless our city, our ṣāʿ, our mudd, our Yemen, and our Shām. Then he faced the rising sun and said: from here the horn of the devil emerges, from here are the earthquakes and tribulations." It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/126) and its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim, except for this Bishr, who is lenient. However, it is supported by the ḥadīth of Tawbah al-ʿAnbarī from Sālim from his father that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it. up to his saying: "and our Shām" with some rearrangement and added: "A man said: O Messenger of Allāh! And in our Iraq? He turned away from him and said: there are the earthquakes and tribulations, and there the horn of the devil emerges." It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (6/133) and its chain is authentic. And it has another route with al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (3/201/1) from Ibn ʿUmar with a similar narration, and in it: "When it was the third or fourth time, they said: O Messenger of Allāh! And in our Iraq? ..." the ḥadīth. And its chain is also authentic. Its origin is with al-Bukhārī and Aḥmad, so refer to my book "Takhrīj Faḍāʾil al-Shām" (p. 9-10). Its extraction and the one before it were previously mentioned under number (2246) with an addition. Then the ḥadīth has a witness from the narration of Abū Masʿūd, raised with the wording: "From here came the tribulations towards the east, and harshness and hardness of hearts in the farmers..." the ḥadīth. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (2/382). I say: the routes of the ḥadīth are corroborative that the direction the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) pointed to is indeed
