Sulaymān al-Taymī narrated to us from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir with it. I said: This is a good isnād except that I do not know this Thaqafī. Surūr was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Ḥibbān (6/437 and 8/301). Abū Ḥātim said: "A shaykh." Ibn Saʿd: "Known." See "Taysīr al-Intifāʿ." The ḥadīth has previously appeared as number (1027), and it is repeated here for further verification. Al-Haythamī said about the ḥadīth (8/157) following al-Mundhirī (3/84-85): "Aḥmad narrated it with a good isnād, as did al-Bazzār and al-Ṭabarānī in (al-Awsaṭ)." This is what they said, but I have noted that in Aḥmad's isnād there is ʿAlī ibn Zayd ibn Judʿān, who is weak due to poor memory. They did not comment on al-Bazzār's other isnād at all! And al-Aʿẓamī followed them as is his habit! However, the ḥadīth is authentic, as it has many supporting narrations, some of which have been mentioned previously as numbers (294-296).

"Indeed, Ibrāhīm is my son, and he died while still nursing, and he has two wet nurses who will complete his nursing in Paradise." It was recorded by Imām Aḥmad in "al-Musnad" (3/112): Ismāʿīl narrated to us, Ayyūb informed us from ʿAmr ibn Saʿīd from Anas ibn Mālik who said: I have not seen anyone more compassionate towards children than the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). Ibrāhīm was being nursed in the outskirts of Madīnah, and he would go while we were with him, entering the house, and it would be smoky—his wet nurse was a blacksmith—
