I said: al-Dhahabī mentioned her in "The Chapter of Unknown Women" at the end of "al-Mīzān." Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Acceptable, from the second [generation], and it is said: she has companionship." I said: her nephews Saʿd and Sulaymān are trustworthy, and they narrated from her, so according to the ḥadīth principles, she is of unknown status unless her companionship is established, yet her ḥadīth is reassuring to the heart. And Allāh knows best.

It was recorded by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (p. 325 - its additions), and by Ibn Jarīr al-Ṭabarī in "Tahdhīb al-Āthār" (1/407/935) through the route of Asad ibn Mūsá: Abū Muʿāwiyah narrated to us from Mūsá al-Ṣaghīr from Hilāl ibn Yasāf from Umm al-Dardāʾ from Abū al-Dardāʾ who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. Al-Bazzār said: "This isnād is authentic, and we do not know it except from this route." I said: and it is as he said, for all its narrators are trustworthy, the men of Muslim, except for Asad ibn Mūsá and Mūsá al-Ṣaghīr, who are both trustworthy, as al-Haythamī said (10/263), despite a disagreement regarding Asad ibn Mūsá which does not harm, if Allāh wills, especially since ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Ṣāliḥ followed him in "al-Ḥilyah" (1/226).
