- "Allāh will continue to plant in this religion individuals whom He uses in His obedience." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Tārīkh - al-Kuná" (p. 61), Ibn Mājah (1/7-8), Ibn Ḥibbān in "Ṣaḥīḥ" (326 - al-Iḥsān) and in "al-Thiqāt" (4/75), al-Dūlābī in "al-Kuná" (1/46), Ibn Shāhīn in "al-Sunnah" (18/47/1), Ibn ʿAdī (58/2), and Ibn Mandah in "al-Maʿrifah" (2/1/1) from al-Jarrāḥ ibn Malīḥ al-Bahrānī who said: I heard Bakr ibn Zurʿah al-Khawlānī say: I heard Abū ʿAnbah al-Khawlānī - who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and who prayed towards both qiblahs and ate blood in the pre-Islamic era - say: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. Al-Būṣīrī said in "al-Zawāʾid" (2/2): "This isnād is authentic, all its narrators are trustworthy." I say: Bakr ibn Zurʿah al-Khawlānī was mentioned by Ibn Ḥibbān in "al-Thiqāt" from the narration of this al-Jarrāḥ about him, and no one else authenticated him, but Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh also narrated from him as in "al-Jarḥ wa-al-Taʿdīl" (1/1/386) and Abū al-Mughīrah al-Khawlānī as in "Tahdhīb al-Tahdhīb", and in "al-Taqrīb" it is said: "Acceptable." I say: Thus, it is possible to consider his ḥadīth as ḥasan, but declaring it ṣaḥīḥ is unlikely.

- "Do not backbite one another." It was recorded by al-Ṭayālisī (2/66/2216), Aḥmad (5/313/320), and Muslim (5/127) through the route of Abū Qilābah from Abū al-Ashʿath from ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit as a marfūʿ narration. It is part of the ḥadīth of the pledge of allegiance with Aḥmad and Muslim
