and Hammām is Ibn Yaḥyá ibn Dīnār al-Azdī. And ʿAbd al-Ṣamad is Ibn ʿAbd al-Wārith.

- "The child is from the earnings of the parent." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (1/141/2): Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn Abī Bilāl al-Tamīmī narrated to us, Khalaf ibn Khalīfah from Muḥārib ibn Dithār from Ibn ʿUmar as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: This isnād is weak. Khalaf ibn Khalīfah, the ḥāfiẓ said: "Truthful but became confused in the end, and he claimed to have seen ʿAmr ibn Ḥurayth the Companion, which was denied by Ibn ʿUyaynah and Aḥmad." And Muḥammad ibn Abī Bilāl al-Tamīmī, I did not find a biography for him. However, the ḥadīth is authentic, supported by his saying (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): "Indeed, your children are from the best of your earnings, so eat from your children's earnings." And it is produced in "Aḥkām al-Janāʾiz" (p. 170) and elsewhere.

- "There is no reward except through accountability, and no deed except with intention." It was recorded by al-Daylamī (4/206) through the route of Ibrāhīm ibn al-Sarī al-Harawī, who narrated to us, Saʿīd ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, Shaqīq from Ibrāhīm ibn Adham from ʿImrān al-Qaṣīr from Mālik ibn Dīnār from Abū Idrīs al-Khawlānī from Abū Dharr, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I said: This isnād is weak. Shaqīq is Ibn Ibrāhīm Abū ʿAlī al-Balkhī, the shaykh of Khurāsān. Al-Dhahabī said: "A denier of ḥadīth, he narrated from Isrāʾīl and ... he was martyred in the year 194."
