and by al-Ḥākim (2/146) and Aḥmad (4/421-422 and 424), all through the route of Ḥammād ibn Salamah from al-Azraq ibn Qays with it. Al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the conditions of Muslim," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him without any objection. Al-Azraq was not included by Muslim in his collection, but he is among the narrators of al-Bukhārī, so the ḥadīth is only authentic. He was deemed trustworthy by al-Nasāʾī, Ibn Saʿd, Ibn Maʿīn, al-Dāraqutnī, and Ibn Ḥibbān. Al-Munāwī, following al-Haythamī (6/229), fell short when they both only mentioned: "Ibn Ḥibbān deemed him trustworthy." Another witness from the narration of ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib from Bilāl ibn Baqṭar from Abū Bakrah said: "The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was brought dinars..." a ḥadīth similar to it. It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/42). Bilāl was not deemed trustworthy by anyone except Ibn Ḥibbān (4/65). And ʿAṭāʾ had become confused.

- "By Allāh, Allāh will not cast His beloved into the Fire." It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (4/177) and Aḥmad (3/104 and 235) from Ḥumayd from Anas (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) who said: "The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) passed by some of his Companions, and a child was in the middle of the road. When his mother saw the animals, she feared for her son that he might be trampled, so she rushed in distress, saying: 'My son! My son!' and she picked up her son. The people said: 'O Prophet of Allāh! This woman would not cast her son into the Fire.' The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: 'No, by Allāh...'" the ḥadīth. Al-Ḥākim said, "Authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said
