I said: but the ḥadīth is authentic, for it has a corroborating narration from Ibn ʿUmar, whose extraction was previously mentioned under number (504) and it is agreed upon. And another corroborating narration from Maslamah ibn Makhlad, reported as elevated. It was recorded by Aḥmad (4/104) through the route of Ibn Jurayj from Ibn al-Munkadir from Abū Ayyūb from Maslamah ibn Makhlad as elevated. This is what is preserved from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir. And its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs.

- "My pulpit is on one of the gardens of Paradise." It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/360 and 450) and Ibn Saʿd (1/253) through routes from Abū Salamah from Abū Hurayrah as elevated, and Ibn Saʿd added: "He said: and the garden is the gate." Its isnād is good. And one of the isnāds of Aḥmad is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs. Then he recorded it (2/412 and 534) through the route of Ḥammād ibn Salamah from Sahl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ from his father from Abū Hurayrah as such. I said: and this isnād is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim. And the ḥadīth has a corroborating narration from Sahl ibn Saʿd al-Sāʿidī as elevated, and he added: "Sahl said: Do you know what the garden is? They said: Yes, it is the gate." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/335 and 339) and Ibn Saʿd through routes from Abū Ḥāzim from him. And its chain is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs. Then Aḥmad recorded it (3/389) from the narration of Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh, and (4/41) from the narration of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Zayd al-Anṣārī.
