- "Whoever does not pray the two rakʿahs of Fajr, let him pray them after the sun rises." It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (423), Ibn Khuzaymah (1117), Ibn Ḥibbān (613), al-Ḥākim (1/274 and 307), and al-Bayhaqī (2/484) from ʿAmr ibn ʿĀṣim, narrated to us by Hammām from Qatādah from al-Naḍr ibn Anas from Bashīr ibn Nahīk from Abū Hurayrah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said. Al-Tirmidhī indicated its weakness due to the singularity of ʿAmr ibn ʿĀṣim, saying: "This ḥadīth is not known except through this chain, and we do not know anyone who narrated this ḥadīth from Hammām with this isnād in this manner except ʿAmr ibn ʿĀṣim al-Kilābī." Al-Bayhaqī pointed to refuting such a weakness by saying after the ḥadīth: "ʿAmr ibn ʿĀṣim was the only one to narrate it, and Allāh knows best, and ʿAmr ibn ʿĀṣim is trustworthy." I say: And al-Bukhārī and Muslim used him as evidence, so his ḥadīth is not rejected merely due to singularity.

- "Whoever is in need of his brother, Allāh will be in his need." It was recorded by Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "Fulfilling Needs" (p. 82, no. 47) from Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan ibn Zubālah: he mentioned al-Munkadir ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir from his father from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I say: And this isnād is extremely weak; Ibn Zubālah was said by al-Ḥāfiẓ: "They accused him of lying." And his teacher al-Munkadir is weak in ḥadīth
