Dhakwān. It was recorded by Abū Nuʿaym (7/174) with a sound chain of narration. Then he recorded it (9/254) through the route of al-Haytham ibn Jammaz from Abū Dāwūd from Zayd ibn Arqam as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the wording of the translation along with an addition. And this isnād is weak. It was also recorded by al-Bazzār (p. 3 - Zawāʾid) through the route of ʿAṭiyyah from Abū Saʿīd as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. I say: Its narrators are all trustworthy, except for ʿAṭiyyah, who is weak and a mudallis, as the ḥāfiẓ said following the ḥadīth in "al-Zawāʾid." It was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (4/251).

"whoever kills a person under a treaty without just cause will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance can be detected from a distance of one hundred years." It was narrated by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (3/86/2) through two routes from ʿĪsá ibn Yūnus from ʿAwf al-Aʿrābī from Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn from Abū Hurayrah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth, and he said: "Its isnād, according to me, meets the criteria of authenticity." I say: And it is as he said. The ḥadīth also comes from the narration of Abū Bakrah, and I have documented it in "al-Taʿlīq al-Raghīb" (3/204-205) and in another narration from him with the wording: "seventy years." And its isnād is authentic.
