- "Whoever removes something harmful from the path of the Muslims, Allāh will record a good deed for him, and whoever has a good deed recorded for him by Allāh, He will admit him into Paradise." Narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Awsaṭ" (1/94/2 from the combination of the two Muʿjams) from Abū Bakr ibn Abī Maryam, who said: Ḥumayd ibn ʿUqbah ibn Rūmān narrated to me from Abū al-Dardāʾ in a marfūʿ form, and he said: "It is not narrated from Abū al-Dardāʾ except through this isnād, and Abū Bakr is the only one who narrated it." I say: It is weak due to his confusion. And Ḥumayd ibn ʿUqbah ibn Rūmān was mentioned by Ibn Abī Ḥātim (1/2/226) with the narration of two trustworthy narrators from him. Ibn Ḥibbān also did so in "al-Thiqāt" (1/41 - Hindiyyah). The ḥadīth was also mentioned by al-Haythamī in "Majmaʿ al-Zawāʾid" (3/135) with this wording, and he said: "Narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in al-Awsaṭ," and its wording in "al-Kabīr" from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Whoever removes something harmful from the path of the Muslims, Allāh will record for him one hundred good deeds," and he did not add more.
