his father in a marfūʿ form. I said: This isnād is good, and there is a slight issue with the sons of ʿAṭāʾ and Jābir, which does not harm [the narration], especially since they have been followed up. Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ ibn Qays ibn al-Azraq narrated it from Muslimah ibn Abī Maryam from ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Muʿāwī from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh with it, except that he did not say: "Allāh made him fear," and added: "upon him is the curse of Allāh and His wrath, Allāh will not accept from him any repentance or compensation." It was recorded by al-Dūlābī in "al-Kuná" (1/132). And this al-Azraq was mentioned by Ibn Abī Ḥātim (3/2/287-288), who said about his father: "A shaykh, meaning he is used as evidence." Yaḥyá ibn Saʿīd disagreed with him and said: from Muslimah ibn Abī Maryam from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār from al-Sāʾib ibn Khālid - who was among the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) - that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it completely with the addition. It was recorded by al-Ḥarbī in "Gharīb al-Ḥadīth" (5/146/1), al-Dūlābī (1/72), as well as Aḥmad (4/55 and 56). I said: And its isnād is authentic. It was also recorded by al-Nasāʾī in "al-Kubrā" (Q 89/2), al-Baghawī in "Mukhtaṣar al-Muʿjam" (9/136/2), and from him by Ibn ʿAsākir (16/240/2), al-Khulaʿī in "al-Fawāʾid" (111/1), Yaʿqūb ibn Aḥmad al-Ṣayrafī in "al-Muntaqá min Fawāʾidih" (255/2), Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (1/372), and Aḥmad from other routes from ʿAṭāʾ with it. It was also recorded by al-Dūlābī (1/123) but without the addition. And the ḥadīth has a supporting narration from Ibn Jurayj from Abū Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allāh from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ from Saʿīd ibn Yasār from some of the Companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: and he mentioned it
أبيه مرفوعا. قلت: وهذا إسناد حسن، وفي ابني عطاء وجابر كلام يسير لا يضر، ولاسيما وقد توبعا، فرواه محمد بن صالح بن قيس بن الأزرق عن مسلمة بن أبي مريم عن علي بن عبد الرحمن المعاوي عن جابر بن عبد الله به، إلا أنه لم يقل: " أخافه الله "، وزاد: " فعليه لعنة الله وغضبه، لا يقبل الله منه صرفا ولا عدلا ". أخرجه الدولابي في " الكنى " (١ / ١٣٢) . والأزرق هذا ترجمه ابن أبي حاتم (٣ / ٢ / ٢٨٧ - ٢٨٨) ، وقال عن أبيه: " شيخ. يعني يستشهد به. وقد خالفه يحيى بن سعيد فقال: عن مسلمة بن أبي مريم عن عطاء بن يسار عن السائب بن خالد - وكان من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: فذكره بتمامه مع الزيادة. أخرجه الحربي في " غريب الحديث " (٥ / ١٤٦ / ١) والدولابي (١ / ٧٢) وكذا أحمد (٤ / ٥٥ و٥٦) . قلت: وإسناده صحيح. وأخرجه كذلك النسائي في " الكبرى " (ق ٨٩ / ٢) والبغوي في " مختصر المعجم " (٩ / ١٣٦ / ٢) وعنه ابن عساكر (١٦ / ٢٤٠ / ٢) والخلعي في " الفوائد " (١١١ / ١) ويعقوب بن أحمد الصيرفي فى " المنتقى من فوائده " (٢٥٥ / ٢) وأبو نعيم في " الحلية " (١ / ٣٧٢) وأحمد من طرق أخرى عن عطاء به. وأخرجه الدولابي أيضا (١ / ١٢٣) لكن دون الزيادة. وللحديث شاهد من رواية ابن جريح عن أبي بكر بن عبد الله عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن سعيد بن يسار عن بعض أصحاب النبي ﷺ أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: فذكره.
