283) and al-Bukhārī (4/494). 3 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Dharr, it was recorded by Aḥmad (5/153, 169), Muslim (8/67), and Ibn Mājah (3821), and its wording and documentation have also been previously mentioned under number (581). 4 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, it is narrated by ʿAṭiyyah from him. It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/40).

"The likeness of a believer is like a piece of gold; its owner blows on it, and it neither changes nor decreases. By the One in whose hand is my soul, the likeness of a believer is like a bee; it eats what is pure, produces what is pure, lands without breaking or corrupting." It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/199), al-Rāmahurmuzī in "al-Amthāl" (50/1-2), and al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (11/2) from Maṭar, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buraydah, from Abū Sabrah, who said that ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ told me that he heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say it, and he added at the beginning: "Indeed, Allāh detests obscenity and vulgarity. By the One in whose hand is my soul, the Hour will not be established until the trustworthy are betrayed, and the treacherous are trusted, until obscenity, vulgarity, severing of kinship ties, and bad neighborliness become apparent." I say: This isnād is weak; Abū Sabrah is only authenticated by Ibn Ḥibbān, and Ibn Maʿīn said: "I do not know him." And Maṭar is Ibn Ṭahmān al-Warrāq, truthful but makes many mistakes, as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb." However, he was followed in the aforementioned addition by Ḥusayn al-Muʿallim, who narrated to us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buraydah with it. It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/162-163), and he was followed in the entire ḥadīth by Qatādah from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buraydah with it
