and above him are trustworthy narrators according to the criteria of Muslim. It is found in "the two Ṣaḥīḥs" in a similar manner as mentioned previously. Ibn Ḥibbān also narrated it in "his Ṣaḥīḥ" (2904 - al-Iḥsān).

"The example of the believer is like that of a palm tree; whatever you take from it benefits you." It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī (3/204/1): Muḥammad ibn al-Faḍl al-Saqaṭī narrated to us, he informed us from Saʿīd ibn Sulaymān, from ʿAbbād ibn al-ʿAwām, from Sufyān ibn Ḥusayn, from Abū Bishr, from Mujāhid, from Ibn ʿUmar, as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Then he narrated it (204/2) from Sharīk, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Mujāhid with it, without the second part of it. I say: This isnād is authentic; its men are trustworthy, the men of the two Shaykhs, except for this al-Saqaṭī, who is trustworthy as al-Khaṭīb said (3/153). In the other chain from Sharīk, who is Ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Qāḍī, of poor memory, he is used as a supporting evidence.
