Abū Ḥātim (3/1/3) also narrated by Abū ʿĀṣim al-Nabīl and Aḥmad ibn Ziyād ibn Sayyār al-Siyārī from him, and he did not mention any criticism or commendation of him, and he is according to the criteria of Ibn Ḥibbān, so perhaps he is in "Thiqātuhu". Then the book was printed, and it is in it (7/158) narrated by al-Tabūdhakī, Mūsá ibn Ismāʿīl, so these are three trustworthy narrators who narrated from him: this one, al-Nabīl, and Hudbah. The second: from Qatādah from him. It was also narrated by al-Bazzār and Abū Bakr al-Muʿaddil in "Ithnā ʿAshara Majlisan min al-Amālī" (2/1) from Fahd ibn Ḥayyān who narrated to us from Hammām from him. I said: And its men are trustworthy, except for Fahd ibn Ḥayyān, for he is weak. The third: from Abū Sufyān from him similarly. It was also narrated by al-Bazzār from Abū Bakr ibn ʿAyyāsh from al-Aʿmash from him. and this is a good isnād, its men are trustworthy, the men of "al-Ṣaḥīḥ". The fourth: from Ḥumayd from him with it. It was narrated by Ibn ʿAdī (148/1), and al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (10/2) from Abū Yaḥyá al-Waqār who narrated to us from Muʾammal ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from him. And he said: "And Abū Yaḥyá al-Waqār, Zakarīyā ibn Yaḥyá, fabricates ḥadīth. And Muʾammal also has weakness, and perhaps the fault is also from him." I said: So this path cannot be used as evidence due to its severe weakness, and the previous paths suffice. 2 - As for the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, it is narrated by Muḥammad ibn Dīnār from Dāwūd ibn Abī Hind from al-Shaʿbī from him, elevated. It was narrated by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Aḥādīth wa-al-Ḥikāyāt" (12/206/1-2), and this Muḥammad ibn Dīnār is al-Ṭāḥī, truthful but of poor memory
