- "O Allāh, forgive ʿĀʾishah for her past and future sins, what she has concealed and what she has revealed." And he said: "By Allāh, this is my supplication for my nation in every prayer." It was narrated by al-Bazzār in "Musnad" (2658 - Kashf al-Astār): Aḥmad ibn Manṣūr narrated to us, Hārūn ibn Maʿrūf narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Ḥayywah informed me from Abū Ṣakhr from Ibn Qusaiṭ from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah who said: "When I saw the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in a good mood, I said: O Messenger of Allāh! Supplicate to Allāh for me." He said: (and he mentioned it), and ʿĀʾishah laughed until her head fell into the lap of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) from laughter, and he said: Does my supplication please you? She said: Why would your supplication not please me? He said: By Allāh, this is my supplication... etc. Al-Bazzār said: "It is only narrated from ʿĀʾishah, and only from her through this isnād." I said: And this isnād is good, and its men are trustworthy, the men of Muslim, except for Aḥmad ibn Manṣūr - who is al-Ramādī, one of the shaykhs of Ibn Mājah - and he is trustworthy, and if it were not for some criticism of Abū Ṣakhr - whose name is Ḥumayd ibn Ziyād - regarding his memory, I would have declared it authentic. Al-Dhahabī said in "al-Kāshif": "There is disagreement about him, Aḥmad said: There is no harm in him." Al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb": "Truthful, but makes mistakes." Therefore, his statement in "Zawāʾid al-Bazzār" (p. 284): "Authentic." is not without leniency. And similarly, his shaykh al-Haythamī's statement in "al-Majmaʿ" (9/244):
